高山千代美（たかやま ちよみ）
ソプラノ・作詞・作曲／宮崎市生まれ／筑波大学情報学類卒業

5歳でヤマハ音楽教室に通い始め、7歳からピアノを学ぶ。
小学校から大学まで合唱を楽しみ、大学在学中より個人レッスンで声楽を学ぶ。
卒業後は宮崎県で数学科教諭となるが、音楽への思いを断ちがたく、わずか1年で退職。
声楽家を志して上京し、都市銀行に勤めながらレッスンを続ける。

結婚後は自宅で小中高生の学習指導を行うかたわら、児童合唱や女声合唱（啓明学園幼稚園お母さんコーラス、三色すみれ）を指導。
1992年3月、宮崎市公民館音楽室にて初めてのソロ・コンサートを開催。
2001年の同時多発テロ事件をきっかけに、あふれる平和への祈りがメロディーとなり、作詞・作曲を始める。

現在は、音楽を通して人々と安らぎや喜びを分かち合いたいという思いのもと、オリジナルソングや童謡・唱歌、日本の歌を中心に、全国で演奏活動を続けている。
コンサートホールやサロンでのリサイタルに加え、老人施設・病院・福祉施設・刑務所などでのボランティア・コンサート、
海外支援のチャリティー公演、子育て支援や「0歳からのコンサート」にも数多く出演している。

2009年より「歌の泉コンサート」（第1?13回）、「高山千代美ソプラノコンサート」（第1?5回）を主催。
これまでに、童謡と語りのCD『母を想う時』（1996）、シングル『21世紀の子どもたちへ』（2002）、
アルバム『虹の輪』（2005）、『スマイル・スマイル』（2013）、『父娘』（2014）、『いのちの子守唄』（2019）、
『風よ空よ』（2022）、『いっちゃが音頭』（2023）などを制作。
また配信限定作品『JATSERING』（2013）を含め、国内外で多数の楽曲が配信されている。

声楽を河野美年子氏、日越喜美香氏、遠藤幸子氏、大志万明子氏に、オリジナルソングを高橋晴美氏に、大学時代に合唱を鈴木茂明氏に師事。20代ではオペラ演出家・故三谷礼二氏の伊豆高原オペラセミナーにも参加。

現在、横浜市青葉区在住。
「Music Harvest（ミュージックハーベスト）」を通して、音楽の実りを多くの人と分かち合い、
一人ひとりの心に光を届ける活動を続けている。

Chiyomi Takayama
Soprano ・ Lyricist ・ Composer
Born in Miyazaki, Japan / Graduated from the University of Tsukuba, Faculty of Informatics

Chiyomi began attending Yamaha Music School at the age of five and started piano lessons at seven.
Throughout her school and university years, she loved singing in choirs, and during university she began private vocal training.
After graduation, she became a mathematics teacher in Miyazaki Prefecture,
but her passion for music led her to leave teaching after a year to pursue a career as a vocalist.
While working at a city bank in Tokyo, she continued her vocal studies.

After marriage, she taught and mentored students at home,
while leading local children’s and women’s choirs, including the Keimei Kindergarten Mothers’ Chorus and Sanshoku Sumire.
In March 1992, she held her first solo concert at the Miyazaki City Community Hall.
Following the events of September 11, 2001, her deep longing for peace inspired her to begin writing her own lyrics and music.

Today, she continues to perform across Japan,
sharing comfort and joy through her original songs, Japanese folk and children’s songs, and beloved traditional melodies.
In addition to concerts in halls and salons, she performs regularly at nursing homes, hospitals, welfare facilities, and correctional institutions,
as well as in charity concerts supporting overseas aid and family-friendly concerts for parents and children ? even babies.

Since 2009, she has hosted her ongoing series, “Song Fountain Concerts” (1?13) and “Chiyomi Takayama Soprano Concerts” (1?5).
Her discography includes:
Mother’s Memory (1996), To the Children of the 21st Century (2002), Circle of Rainbow (2005),
Smile Smile (2013), Father and Daughter (2014), Lullaby of Life (2019), Wind and Sky (2022), and Icchaga Ondo (2023).
Her digital release JATSERING (2013) and other works are now streamed in Japan and abroad.

She studied voice under Mineko K?no, Kimika Higoshi, Sachiko End?, and Meiko ?shima,
original songwriting under Harumi Takahashi, and choral conducting under Shigeaki Suzuki.
In her twenties, she also participated in the Izu K?gen Opera Seminar led by the late director Reiji Mitani.

Now based in Aoba Ward, Yokohama, and a mother of three sons,
Chiyomi continues her journey through Music Harvest ?
sharing the fruits of music and offering gentle light to the hearts of all who listen.
